Welcome to the 2024 Season at Old Chelmsfordians Cricket Club

We are a club that welcomes new members of all ages and abilities for our Youth, Ladies and Senior Sections, so get in touch if you want to play for a great club.

We are delighted to hear the news that Adil Jahangir (Dilli) is planning to come back to England this Summer and represent the Old Chelmsfordians throughout the cricket season. When he was last in the country Dilli was a valued member of our cricket section, as a hard hitting batsman for our first XI, supporting other players along the way with his excellent cricketing knowledge. He is also to be joined by his lifelong friend from Kolkata, Mohammed Misbahuddin (Missy Uddin) to add further depth to our squads. We look forward to seeing them in our cricketing whites in the weeks to come. 

Cricket fixtures
A full season of T Rippon League (a new 5th XI debut season!), the Ladies Beaumont Seymour League, and our youth and friendly fixtures.

Ladies - Monday Nights (6.00pm Start)
Seniors - Wednesday nights (6.00pm Start)
6th team - Thursday nights (5.30pm Start)
U15s - Friday nights (6.30pm to 8pm)
All Stars (5-8 Year Olds) - Saturday Morning (9.30am to 10.30am)
Under 11s - Saturday Morning (9.00am to 11am)
Under 13s - Saturday Morning (9.00am to 11am)
Under 13s Thursday nights (5.30pm Start)

Youth cricket
ECB All Stars Cricket starts on 11th May 2024 from 9.30-10.30 am on Saturdays. 
All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience of cricket for all children aged 5-8 years old. They will enjoy 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so.

Note: If the Old Chelmsfordians doesn't appear in the list of clubs there is a problem with the ECB website. We are actively trying to resolve this with the ECB so it will appear soon!

We also are able to offer Dynamos Cricket for 8-11 year olds. This can also be booked using the link above.
